Meet Photographer Sara Zarrella

Sara Zarrella has always been completely fascinated by the stories people have to tell. She has had the opportunity to completely immerse herself in her love for the art of photojournalism storytelling throughout her educational career. After graduating, Northeastern University Magna Cum Laude, she continued her studies at the Rhode Island School of Design, the New England School of Photography, and abroad in Florence Italy at the Studio Art Center International. These experiences cultivated her with a defined skill set. With her degrees in photography and graphic design in hand; she decided to head to the big apple; the city that never sleeps with a million stories just waiting to be told. She began working at InStyle magazine as a photo editor in Manhattan, exposing her to the glamorous life of fashion shows, singers, actors, and models that buzzed about the dynamic city. In 2003, she returned to her roots in East Greenwich, Rhode Island where she now owns and operates Sara Zarrella Photography, LLC.
