The buzz in the gallery is that the couples are still getting married.
But the head count is now starting at 100.
I had a bride come in planning the wedding 3 months and one 6 months out last week end. Its a lot like the year of 9/11. It's very short sale cycle and the girls are booking vendors very close to the wedding date.

Saint Patrick's Day March 14th.

It will be the 53 year for the Rhode Island Saint Patrick's Day Parade held in Newport, Come rain, snow, or shine, on Saturday, March 15th 2008. The parade will begin promptly at 11:00am from Newport City Hall and will proceed to Carroll Avenue at Saint Augustin’s Church in the heart of the Fifth Ward. The parade this year is estimated to last 2 hours and will include 10 Pipe Bands, 11 Marching Bands, 5 Fife & Drum Corps, 5 Clown Units, 5 reenactment units, and a host of local, state, and regional organizations including police and fire units, social/fraternal organizations, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Schools, and non-profits and maybe a great day to plan out your wedding day !

The gallery will be open before and after the parade.
