Meet The Fine Artist Diane Gay

Diane Gay's loose, fluid paintings have won awards for their creative use of line and color, boldness and originality. She paints in oils and acrylics in a self-taught, spontaneous technique with a variety of subject matter, most notably representations of women-the feminine form in motion and at rest. These charming jewel-like paintings depict the tenderness of women and create an aura of strength in simplicity.
She can capture your wedding day with charm and grace.
Prices range from $1,500 to $6,000 depending on the size of the composition.

Spread The Love

I want to thank the O'Conner clain for hosting my end of first day party at The Newport Wedding Gallery . The gang from Frank Antonio, Karen Benjamin, Dr. Debra Harris and Gina Marie Dedominici stopped by as well to toast the opening day. By using Marg's recycled jam jars. The champagne and cupcakes never tasted better!
And that jam jar....What a great favor idea for a garden wedding.

Meet Caterer Russ Morin

Fine Catering by Russell Morin is a proud part of Morin’s Diners Inc. – a family owned business since 1911. The current generations’ grandfather, J.B. Morin, started the business as a 24 seat diner located in front of a four story jewelry manufacturing company in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The family had to pitch in even then as Mrs. Morin cooked entrees and baked pies at their home 2 blocks away to be brought to the diner fresh daily. The popularity of the diner led to the opening of another in the early 30’s and in the 40’s upon his return from overseas, Ralph R. Morin expanded the diner into off-premise catering. The business continued to grow and Ralph expanded his kitchens through the purchase of a nearby building. The expanded kitchen and the contribution of the current owners, R. Russell Morin and William Morin, made taking control of the food-service at three local country-clubs possible. It was during this time Russell and William developed their passion for the business that led each of them to the Cornell University Hotel School and back to help further and carry on their family’s legacy. www.morins.com

Meet Photographer Nancy Cohn

My eyes your wedding, oddly enough many people understnad Proust"s Time past" as time wasted" rather that in the sense of his own meaning, "time which will never come back". This is the appropriate definition of the photograph. Each image stores up a moment of time. The physical pleasure taken in composition and witnessing one of the more profound days in a couples life through Nancy's lens. As seen in
"Inside Weddings" Winter 2009 . Nancy delivers timeless photography that is unobtrusive and sensitively done. She creates a story that is unique with heartfelt moments to share with their friends and family.

Calligrapher Jane Parillo of Scribe has joined The Newport Wedding Gallery

Jane Parillo began studying the art of calligraphy in 1980, after having finished two years of graduate school. The class, which was “for fun” and intended to serve as a relaxing treat after a grueling couple of years, lit the fire for what has now become a lifelong passion. Jane’s calligraphic services are the perfect choice for addressing envelopes, social invitations, program and menu designs, custom wedding invitations, escort cards, placecards, seating scrolls, and matching table numbers.
In addition to her bridal/social service, Jane also enjoys creating one-of-a-kind pieces of original artwork. Commissions are always welcome.

Happy Valentines Day!

The Grand Opening was a hit!
I want to thank all the artistans and my dear friends for the love and support, they have shown me thru this project.
It truly was a Happy Valentines Day!

Meet Don Jagoe of Newport Image

Your wedding day is a singular event—truly the day of a lifetime. It should be captured in imagery that is beautiful, romantic, timeless and fun. While the people in your life are undeniably the most important subjects that day, you also want your photographer to capture the light, the gestures, the details and the candid moments that make it unique.
I'm a “people person” and believe that the friendly interaction with your family, friends and guests throughout the day will result in a comfort level that will allow your photography to occur in a manner that will be essentially transparent to you. The result will be a visual record of one of the most special days of your life.

Meet Photographer Phil Fox

I had always been interested in phyotography from an early age. My dream was realized only after graduating from college with a degree in aviation and working for several years in the aviation/communications fields. The underlying urge to become a photographer finally came to fruition the summer of my wedding and spending a summer honeymooning in Alaska. With the support of my new wife, I finally decided to do what inspires me and start a career as a photographer. I attended the New England School of Photography and have been shooting professionally for seven years.

David Dadekian Photography

David employs a photojournalistic and fine art style for his wedding photography, capturing the day's events as they spontaneously unfold. One of the greatest compliments David feels he's received from brides & grooms is how he manages to capture every aspect of their day while being completely unobtrusive—he will use flash only when absolutely necessary. Your day will include a formal session with family and friends, but David tries to stay away from the posed portraiture, old-school style of wedding photography. A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts for Film & Television and a member of the Professional Photographers of America,

I think you'll find that my approach to shooting a wedding is as unique as each wedding itself. My goal is to reflect the energy and emotion of your day with photography that is spontaneous, elegant and fun.
